Arms reduction would ease tensions around the world and “would give Moscow and Washington a solid base to do the same with other nuclear powers”, said Dr Walid Phares from the Foundation for the Defense of Democracies.

When I see non nuclear powers remain uninvaded, because the big bully stops and says, hey they don't have nuclear weapons, we must be peaceful. Then I will believe this argument. Until then I will remain true to the view. That nuclear weapons, guarantee our territorial integrity today, and for the forseeable future. The approach of nuclear disarmament, is one of the most dangerous approaches, that could well facilitate the onset of another world war, with all its resultant horrific carnage. The truth is, that nuclear weapons work, they keep the peace. That is the rason why every one wants them, they don't want to be the next Iraq or Afghanistan. So you would be better reigning in the aggressors of this world, like the US, NATO and the EU, and get them to follow international law. without this first step, everyone is going to want nuclear weapons for their own defence. The US,NATO and EU taught them, if you don't do what we say, or have something we want and you don't have nuclear weapons, we come, so get ready for your orange suit!
