Russia’s mediation is more important for Gaza than humanitarian aid, says Mikhail Troitsky, political analyst from the Moscow Institute of Foreign relations.
At the international conference held in Egypt to raise humanitarian aid for Gaza, Russia has pledged food, medicine, armored vehicles and helicopters to the Palestinian Authority.

According to Media reports, israeli settlements have already taken up 60% of the West Bank. So the Palestinians will be living in disconnected Bantustans with no viability. Most Palestinians will have none of this. I see no reason why Russia should be spending political capital in trying to justify the ethnic cleansing of Israel.
