War between USA and Russia is inevitable because supplies of oil in the Caspian basin. You must use the time until then and prepare, modernize the army and conventional war strategy... We Serbs we experience American democracy and justice, and we need strong brotherly Russia as we go along in the world balance. Beware of the giddily and the wicked American diplomacy ... Nicola is quiet righ; it remain me of that american proverb: With friends like them who needs ennemis ! Strangely enough, we see that many russian decisions' makers confuse wishfull thinking and realistic politics. Sorry Future generations ! Sincerely. Jean-Claude Meslin

I wouldn't say war is inevitable, but I would say, we need prepare and always be on our guard, to try to prevent it. This means as Nikola says we must prepare. However, this preparation needs to be more than conventional, it must be a complete package of tactical and strategic nuclear weapons as well. Only with these, can we hope to prevent continual NATO and US attrocities, and try to ensure not only our own safety, but the safety of the world at large, including the US public from their commercial masters. For me the US people are not our enemies, but people like the Cheney gang are. I am for peace, through strength! not war through weakness. Meslin is right, we need keep our minds focused, and know the American administartion is our enemy, for the forseable future, a sad fact, but a fact none the less. In terms of these negotiations, I do worry, that we are negotiating too softly, and entering a trajectory which diminishes our nuclear deterrence capability, this is the road to hell, and will bring about inevitable war. I would prefer us not to go on some 'giddy' smiling mission to rid the world of nuclear weapons, and instead go on a mission to rid the world of major wars. Only the threat of catastrophic unacceptable damage on an adversary Nation will secure this. Not peoples sons and daughters, fighting thousands of Kiliometers away on CNN waving flags.
