When Obama says :"The US will from now on act through international cooperation, and Russia has an indispensable role reserved in this cooperation", then Mr Lavrov readily responds "We are ready for this. In fact, we’ve been ready all these years ...". As if Mr Lavrov is kind of delighted with that "new role" that US has generously granted to Russia? Many believe that such delightedness may be too naive. Maybe this is only a strategy to soften Russia before a full and decisive strike will be delivered. Remember that US officials and press have been using to talk about Serbian ex-president Milosevic as "a key peace-keeping person in Balkan" and "a guarantee for peace" over the mid-90's, but it wasn't for long before they attacked him and put in Hague. I somehow sense that this Obama's "reset" policy may be a sort of the similar cheating agenda.
