Re "Russian Subs become Canada's wonder of the year" Gosh yes, we are all in awe. The "wonder" of it all... Hah! The wonder we experience about Russia, if we think of you people at all, is when the the USSR will be reconstituted with Putin as "tsar". At the moment, most of the folks I know regard your Arctic adventures as mere peacock strutting, along with the bleatings of Denmark, Norway and everyone else who are getting ready to rape the Arctic seabed, the US included. Funny how everyone else forgot about Canada's Arctic for centuries until global warming brought out the greed and mouth-frothing from greedy people trying to grab pieces of our territory.

You have to laugh at everything around these two submarines - The US sees two Russian submarines at 200 miles and its media hysteria, whilst Russia seeing front line Nato troops,missiles, fighters, bombers and tanks right on its borders, is somehow a Russian paranoid problem. Get real you media hypocrits! Start really worrying when we re-tool our strategic warheads onto short range tactical missiles, launched from smaller submarines, and we build more and more submarines, then feel that nice wam neighbourly feeling you want to give to us, Are those Oceans, barriers or gateways? You float in space, we will float just off your coast. Get the picture! We are always open to a deal, we come in peace!
