Russian trace in US airbase closure?

Some analysts say that it is no coincidence that the US airbase in Kyrgyzstan was closed after the country had received a huge assistance package from Russia.
That is according to Aleksandr Pikaev from Moscow's Institute for World Economy and International Relations.
