It appears to me that Saakashvili is running out of friends and allies his only ally is the United States and to have Georgian authorities to pay for him to have a discussion's with Barack Obama is simply silly and un-practical, this is another unfortunate state of circumstances because this is pretty much what Ukraine's Yulia Timoshenko was becoming, Too dangerous in politics I absolutely hope that Saakashvili get ousted from office soon because he is one of the last of what is left of biased in North Caucasus, also he is damaging Georgian honor by humiliating Georgians in the process. The main reason why he is Humiliating Georgians is simply like this "If I cannot get or have any Friends I simply buy them" this pretty much sums up what Saakashvili is truly about. I fully supported Russia during the August 2008 conflict and I believe it was right for Russia to help aid it's fellow brethren in the great nation's of South Ossetia and Abkhazia from Saakashvili's tyranny. finally now back to Saakashvili lobbying "Buying" friends in Washington this will backfire in the long run because all Washington has to do is look at every Georgian media and news website that there is and they'll see that they are all Tampered and Manipulated against both Russia and Georgian Citizens as these websites have no freedom of the press or freedom of speech, I simply wish to see a fair and peaceful Georgia that all Georgians can benefit from, and in the process Saakashvili learns from his most biggest political and greedy mistakes. Remember Georgian's Saakashvili made Georgia smaller and he is make you even smaller still.

Saaakashvili is unable to live in reality because of his delusional self-image that he is either King David The Builder of ancient times, or he is an incarnate of Joseph Stalin - he can't make up his mind. He plays both roles on occasion and burns his fingers each time. He played Stalin in August 08, and the Russian boys gave his American trained, equipped and financed army a thrashing. Saakashvili's latest grand plan is to turn Georgia into "a Switzerland with a touch of Singapore" whatever that means in his delusional mind. Saakashvili is clever enough to know that the American political system is fueled by greed and ego. So, quite adroitly Saakashvili does what folks on K Steer DC have always done - employing influence peddlers to stroke the politicians. Perhaps Saakashvili has finally realized that the two old grandpas McCain and Lugar, who used to be in his pockets, are no longer as easily fooled by him as they were during August 08, and he has to find new suckers in the US congress to listen to his whining and crying about the meanness of Russia. Saakashvili has yet to come to the realization that the peoples of Abkhazia and S. Ossetia don't want the Georgian to rule them - sort of like the Muslim Albanians didn't want to be under Christian Serb rule. Somebody should tell Saakashvili to read the labels of the ties before he sucks on them. Some of his ties may be toxic which may account for his frequent bizarre behavior.

After the assassination of George Bush Senior and Henry Kissinger late last year and Madeleine Albright and Dick Cheney on the run, Saakashvili’s amigos in America are diminishing by the day and in desperation for comforting hug Saakashvili is spending the money he received from his mentors. It all leads to an inevitable divorce from the marriage by proxy.

Saakashvilli has paid money to firms that are associated with the old Clinton administration. Both run by Democrats. He is OUT of favor now because he FAILED his AMERICANmaster's command to take South Ossetia and Abkhazia and to HUMILIATE russia. Opps, he blew it! BIG TIME!! But I think he wants to do something to get back into their favor. Something that could make trouble for Russia in the Sochi Olympics. Count on him to TRY something in that area and innocent folks will suffer. America does NOT care about innocent civilians.

OK, let's see if I have this right: Saakashvili lives off of USA largesse, courtesy of the taxpayers. He then turns around and uses our tax dollars to bribe our Congress-critters, so that they will send him more tax dollars? Wow, how can I get in on this. What a money-maker.

I suspect he did not ask anyone how he will spend "his own money"!Instead of hellping Georgian citizens in hardship with this money, he pays to be "welcome" (is this how things in real democracy shall works??) in Usa. After all-what a insane man indeed! To Georgian nation-this man is a real danger for you statehood-as soon as you change him better future for you will be possible! This man(a war criminal) is not welcome anywhere-he got not money(any amount) to pay me as simple human being to shake hand with him....All the best to Georgians...Thanke you!

Reminds you of the time when Rome was falling to its knees because of taxes, debt, corruption and world expansion of their military dominance... What a Republican Democracy we have in USA - bailing out banks, foreign governments, covert military operations against its OWN people... What a ride! Thank You RT for quality journalism!
