A secret society at Yale University, known as the Skull and Bones, in the U.S. has been sued over the remains of an Apache Native American.
Descendants of the Apache chief Geronimo believe that 90 years ago a group of students including George Bush's grandfather opened their ancestor's tomb and stole his skull to use in fraternal rituals.
Now Geronimo's relatives want his body back to give it a proper burial.
“I believe strongly from my heart that his spirit was never released,” Harlyn Geronimo, the chief’s great-grandson, said.
The lawsuit, filed on Tuesday – 100th anniversary of Geronimo's death, also names U.S. President Barack Obama and defence secretary Robert Gates as defendants because the chief’s remains are supposed to be kept on a U.S. army base.
Geronimo was a prominent Native American leader, who fought against U.S. and Mexican expansion into Apache tribal lands back in 19th century.
He was captured by the U.S. in 1886 and died in prison in 1909.

Russian trace in US airbase closure? Some analysts say that it is no coincidence that the US airbase in Kyrgyzstan was closed after the country had received a huge assistance package from Russia. |
Race is on for India nuclear marketJust months after the opening of India to civilian nuclear trade with the world, the country is already shopping. Russia, France and the US are the main rivals in getting billions of dollars worth contracts. |
I am mex-am/Apache.I am proud of it.It is unfortunate that the now whites left their country not to be under the monarchy ruling. Stole our land. Then they point the finger at us to go back to our country!! Hello we didn't come on a boat by a guy who was lost!! Nor did we slaughter our ppl. They did!! Now the famous thanksgiving is celebrated like all is well. It's another grim reminder of how the whites control the masses and make rules they themselves can't handle. So if you make the rules quit changing them for your benefit.Cuz God knows all and see's all!!
This is old news .This skull and bones crap was known before Bush'es 2d election and was mostly ignored. Personally I feel the election was a set-up,because what is the mathematical chance that two men from this very tiny group should vie against each other for president? The secret mission"-crook" in S&B terms was accomplished. I believe our present state of affairs was part of the plan.

The question should be, is it legal what SKULL AND BONES is accused of doing. Disrespect of the dead should be punishable, if proven. The American Indians fought honorably to keep their lands and way of life. This cannot be disrespected or taken away from them. It is too late to punish those who committed these crimes against the Indian Nations, but America could honor the treaties made with the Indians. Actually, the surviving Indians could have all government lands and parks given back to them as a good gesture. It would be impossible to get all the other people off their land and return it to them. What goes around, comes around so be good to the vanquished. They are human also.
