So far, the story is question of exchanging of convicted Russian spies[spying for U.S] against their Motherland for alleged Russians PR people who failed to register their intention to work for Russia in the U.S. This the tragic twist of this whole affairs. All the spies and alleged spies in these cases are Russians. I do not think this is accident: it could potential make every Russian working in the West a suspect of being a spy; conversely, every Russian working in the West, could be suspected of spying for the West. This is bad news for Russians.

Too bad Anna has to go first. I still insist that this is another cheap-shot attempt for the FBI to save it's sagging reputation! They have allowed amateur and other terrorists to get on aircraft. Yet they bust 10 low grade (so-called) spies, for gathering information that could be obtained with a computer, shortwave radio and a police scanner ( legal in most states ). What a joke!

Mr. Sutyagin will cut off from his roots. He will never have his homeland. A man can do this only if he did have committed espionage. Now that his name has been raised in the RT, why has Russia did not ask Robert Hanson as part of this deal? I can see the Russian authorities are moved by the plight of Russians in U.S prinson and that many of these people have children, if scientifically trained spies are going to be part of this exchange, Robert Hanson should have been part of this swap. Something very important is missing in these spying and spy swaping stories.

So Anna does not want to stay in Russia because she is a " British citizen"! I wonder if the feeling is mutual from the British side! There is still more to this girl. Her blind ambitions are becoming clear now.

Ann Chapman’s first expression is that she does not want to stay in Russia! Perhaps this girl does not know that it was Russia- and not the UK- that got her out of her solitary confinement. Now, I do wonder if her so-called undercover PR job for Russia was part of her self promotion. Russian women are famous in literature but never in this type of blind ambition. Her mother is also now speaking out and is threatening to western media with libel action! I wonder what the mother of Anna Chapman would say that her daughter sees herself more as a British citizen than a Russian! Ann Chapman is a symbolic representation of the new Russians willing to promote themselves by any means necessary. Here we have Russian scientists and generals in the army and security service agent giving state secrete to the U.S for money. Imagine their fathers and grandfathers giving their lives in the Great Patriotic Wars to save Russia. This story makes anybody who cares about Russia very sad.
