The state of New York’s requirement that health care workers be immunized with the swine flu vaccine is causing protests, Barbara Loe Fisher, President of the National Vaccine Information Center, told RT.
She added that even pregnant women and others who feel that they would be at risk if they took the swine flu vaccine are being forced to accept the treatment.
As for the general situation, Barbara Loe Fisher says that polls have shown that somewhere from one-third to 50 percent of families are not going to allow their children to be treated with the swine flu vaccine.
“A lot of people have taken a wait-and-see attitude to see if this virus is going to become more dangerous,” she says.

“US gay community awaits direct timetables from Obama”The gay community expects to learn when the federal bills bringing about rights and protection for them will be advancing, as Joshua Lynsen, news editor for The Washington Blade, told RT. |
As a healthcare worker mandated to take this vaccine I could not have said this better. I had the virus already (although my health dept did not think it was serious enough to test for). I had my seasonal flu shot last year so it either didn't work or I had H1N1. I stayed home and recovered uneventfully. My doctor did not give me Tamiflu because I am healthy. Now I have the best type of immunity to protect my patients and t will be long lasting unlike the vaccine.

This is a gross violation of the health care worker's civil rights. Someone should be held accountable and the health workers compensated for this violation of their constitutional rights.
