It seems to me that russian decisions'makers and medias do not understand what is really involved when talking about armaments with americans. Meanwhile, it is also possible that they understand quiet well and also hope to benefit from it. As president Eisenhower feared, american politicians are prsoners of the US military industrial complex. Mostly, since the 1980s, when Reagan was president, the MIC took over all US levers of command, including those of their europeans associates. Consequently, NATO became a tool of that shame. This apply to Mr Obama like it did to his predecessors. We must understand that all discussions wth Russia, China, India or any other possible foe are just made to protect the huge financial benefits that the military industry procure. Those greedies businessmen and corrupt politicians ignore and don't want to hear about the word reconversion. Now, their main purpose is convincing Russians to join that crazy anti-missiles' defence'shield-program. They will not mind having a few corrupt oligarchs and politicians from Russia as partners. Then, they will make the same offers to chineses. I always found rather strange than for the past half a cenury, knowing than Humanity waste each year over 1000 billions € on military and police gadgets, nobody has ever rised that subject in one of those ONU furbery shows which, so often take place. It is also very difficult for me to take Iran and North-Korea as potential agressors. It will make more sens to use an aliens' extra-terrestrial invasion as an excuse for such pharaonic expenditures... Sorry Future Generations; at the present time, we are governed by greedies idiots. Sincerely. Jean-Claude Meslin Sorry Future Generations !!!
