I have been watching your programme on Serbia today; it made me feel helpless and outraged. What I was missing in your work was perspectives for the future, more international context, and, above all, anything about Russia's role in the sad story. With best wishes;

I remember that from the status of a distant spectator of a stupid action by our American president to shift the focus of scandal. That prescient movie "Wag the Dog" was lived out right next door, but with real bombs. The absurdity of making the Serbian province of Kosovo safe for Albanians, but not Serbians, was missed by many. Most of my fellow Americans were perplexed. Our 'Commander-in-Chief' retreated from Somolia after one serious battle (which the participants said they won, losing a couple dozen of their people while killing close to a thousand attacking Somalis seems to support the assertion). Then he invaded Haiti, letting a petty dictator be exiled to a comfortable existence in France while our troops laid brick for school buildings and paved some roads. Most of us were perplexed about the Kosovo farce. The Clinton years were not our finest.

I came across Russian television while visiting a friend in a hotel in Bangkok, Thailand. My friend had been telling me how interesting Russian TV was but I had paid little attention until I actually watched it. While I too live in Bangkok I do not receive Russian TV on my TV but I can get it through my computer. Wow ! some really interesting articles and thought provokings interpretations of current events can be seen here. it looks like I'll have a Merry Christmas after all.

Russia deliberately left Serbia without help so Serbia is now under western occupation. Russia was buying time for its own defense with Serbian lives. Serb history is all the same: killed by those who aim on russia..turks, germans now all west... with help from criminal neighbor states like croat SS ustashe and albania SS shiptars hordes...Thats why nation that was same in numbers as germans hardly have 10 mil citizens...all other killed in action ! Russia needs to understand that once serbia is gone no one will ever buy time for russia!
