It is clear without doubt that the US security serviices were involved in illegal and destabilisng activities in Serbia, Ukraine, Georgia ..... It was all part of the anti-Russia strategy. The strategy went even further attempting to destabilise Russia directly in the caucusus internally. The real losers in all of this were the people of the countries themselves, as their sates were transformed into vassal states of the US. The people became incidental collateral damage in the goal of world domination and access to Russia's resources. Their citizens were slaughtered in the case of Serbia and made poor in the case of Ukraine and Georgia. The truth will always come out in the end, not just of these activities, but also a huge array of previous activities in the middle east ... activities that the US security services don't want brought to light. Hence their letters to their president!

This is hardly a surprise. Why would it be? The director of the Rudolfinerhaus was fired because he let the secret out. The clinic, Rudolfinerhous was the clinic where the President was treated before. It is an equivalent of Betty Ford clinic, that is, an exclusive and private treatment for a variety of substance abuse. The doctor refused to be part of the cover up, and was fired. There is plenty of information on this from that time. Why was he fired? Because supposedly it came out that the President was treated for alchoholism, and that he suffered from an accute inflammation of the spleen. The skin reaction is apparently not uncommon, but the severity depends from case to case. Hope someone else has some data on this from the past. And isn't his wife a former US State Department employee?

I never believed in such of story- anyway..I also read it was a food poisoning from something he ate on that diner!Normaly his wife will inform his "supporters"in Usa about his healt. Latter he use this food poisoning (with his Usa friends)to gain popularity and blame Russia! His wife also work for state department before-once you work there, you are 99% in future service if need arise.Everithing what he done after as president fits just that! I believe if he lost power some of those well inform people will start talking..He was the worse Ukraine president ever - for sure...To be good president of any state you must first and foremost RESPECT NATIONAL INTEREST OF YOUR OWN NATION!For this reason Usa listed Ukraine as" DEMOCRATIC STATE"! He never miss a chance to worsen on purpose friendship with Russia! To everyone in the world is clear looking at past history, religion etc, that Ukraine nat.interest lie with Russia as first! I do hope he will be gone soon!Timoshenko or Yanukovich or anybody else will be far more better to respect and protect true Ukraine interest...Thanke you

Wow, I wonder if this will be published in the USA. When Yuschenko got poisoned, I remember hearing spoken suspicions about Russia among my acquaintances. Everybody felt so sorry for Yuschenko, and he was "our" guy.

What took Russia so long or RT to do a critical review of the dioxin poison affair? When I first head about it even I thought there was some Russian connection even though I was aware of western efforts against Russia until I read Justin Raimando insight into the case on his articles at antiwar.com and more info was revealed about Yuchenko of who he is worked for the Central Bank and controlled a company that uses pipelines in Ukraine to transit Russian gas to Europe and his background like his wife being a Reagonite Neo-conservative during the 80's and that he and Timoshenko set up political parties in Ukraine in the 90's to secure oil and gas transit fees (thank Mathew Raphael Johnson for that). Although in the case of Litvinenko here in Britain in London is was pretty obvious that he was smuggling Plutonium to the point were it became almost comical with a well scripted PR campaign with the British media following the script even when the suspect shifted from Scaramelo to Lugovi.

In fact, I remember Antiwar.com had at that time a whole slew of articles on how the whole thing was handled. In fact, the story was so full of holes, that it never made sense. I remember Justin Raymondo having some of the best articles on Antiwar.com on Orange Revolution. One of my favorites was the part of the narrative when the President, sick as he was, went to Rudolfinerhaus. The question was immediately raised --- why there. Right there in Vienna, there is Vienna University Medical Center. That would be the place you would go to, if you have a serious and inexplicable, possibly life-threatening ailment. The fact that we was seen only by a closed circle of a small, private clinic, was enough to convince me that it was a set up. Nobody with their right mind would walk around with a potential poisining, and unknown consequences for one's health, and huddle with a secretive group of tight lipped doctors. And the director that got fired, did not hold punches. But as always, the wonerfull free media shut him out of the process, never to be head again. So, the curious case went on to be curioser, by having the President sequestered by a small clique of doctors. While in Vienna, had he gone to a respected, major medical institution, all questions would have been answed. But he did not. It is because he knew his problem, and did not fear for his life. And later, the test on his blood was done in Belgium, I believe, with the results showing the toxin. I hope I can still find these articles in Antiwar.com archive.

Actually, I found a great deal; author is Justin Raimondo; among many on the topic, there is one titled Yuschenko "poison plot" fraud. There are others, such as Devil's Christmas, or Democracy: The God that Failed. There are at least half a dozen articles or so. Most from the end of December, 2004.

I'd be surprised if anyone was surprised at this. It's been common knowledge for some time that there was more to this than met the eye. I wouldn't only include the US "intelligence" services in this, but british and others too. This has not been reported on news organisations working for their respective governments, including the BBC, an organisation intent on continuing the myth that they are objective, and don't answer to the british foreign office. We know that simply isn't true as the BBC's grossly biased coverage and anti-russia/propaganda/reporting of last year's attack on South Ossetia by the Butcher of Tbilisi clearly showed. Between this latest scam, the reports of Ukrainian involvement in the Georgian government's attempted genocide in South Ossetia, and the ongoing pillage of Ukrainian taxes and foreign relief funds by the Yushenko and his clan, it's little wonder that the people of Ukraine and Georgia are absolutely fed up with their politicians, and want change.

I think these is a highly dubious story. Given the known track record of Russian secret services and their nasty poisonous substances and given also the known heavy infiltration of the SBU by FSB operatives, I know where my money would be going in the guilt stakes. No surprise either that this story featured in "Sevodnya" which is hardly an objective journal and one I would call "Ukrainian" only in so much as it is published in that country.

If KGB - oops! SVR - decided to kill Yushenko, he would be DEAD. These guys NEVER fail. So, it wasn't the Russians. Obviously it wasn't the Americans. They can't find a better puppet and they are equally "professionals". Maybe rivals or some mafia... Amateurs... Anyway it wouldn't be a ... great loss for humanity... So, who cares?

@Sevodnya_net “and given also the known heavy infiltration of the SBU by FSB operatives, I know where my money would be going in the guilt stakes.” They didn’t know about Ukraine role in preparing the assault in Georgia in 08 so they can’t be that “infiltrated”. Yet you probably consider western mouth pieces like Lord Rothschild’s Guardian newspaper, and every other mass media Jewish owned newspaper and media in Europe and North America as reliable although they have miss-reported on every major foreign policy issue Balkans, Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, 9/11, etc . Given US and British track records and there affiliates it doesn't surprise me that that they would be involved. They poisoned Milosevic in The Hague and strangled another defended with his belt which they made to look like suicides although Milosevic was about to be freed as there was no charges against him and months prior made repeated statements that he was going to be killed. Russian secret services have not been involved in secret killings since the break up of the USSR apart from Chechen terrorist in Qatar who every terror expert agrees financed the assault into Dagestan in 99, openly admitted on camera that trying to receive $1 billion dollars from foreign states to set up camps in then Taliban controlled Afghanistan and openly actively financing terror attacks like the metro bombing in Moscow from his base in Qatar. He was killed shortly after that.
