@ Many -- It is frustrating to be sure. Many people did protest against the Iraq war when it first started. I was in one that had a couple thousand people on the state-house steps. It was a well-behaved demonstration so it didn't stay in the news. The protest in San Francisco was violent so it was in the news for a few days. But we did not have an impact on the national government because they just did not care what the people thought. Also, they managed to get the message across that "if you are against the war, you are insulting our troops!" It was an effective advertising campaign, at first. How do you tell a man who has sons serving in Iraq that you are not against them but the ones who sent them? He will not listen to you. Now we seem to have an administration that at least "acts" like it is willing to listen to people. And the people have a ten-year accumulation of "grudge" built up that makes them willing to shout again. So the shouting is back in the news. We'll see how much of it actually stays on the nightly news.
I don,t remember the american people complaining much,on the Bush,s era,as he and his gang spent all they wanted,on the so called{WAR ON TERROR}.I don,t remember also,americans complained about the lost lives of about ONE MILLION Iraqis,the destruction of their Nation,and the continued presence,of these same american troops on their soil.I don,t remember also americans denouncing those in power,for the suffering they inflicted and continue to this day inflicting,on the Iraqi and the People of Afghanistan,simple because they were told by their PRIMITIVE leaders,these Nations were responsible for so called 9/11.Now it appears the american people wok up,from a very long sleep,and found that Obama,may be trying to improve their health care,and they don,t want him to spend money on them,and apparently want him to continue spending all in weapons,and wars,because that is what they are used too.Apparently the american people wok up late,and now is the time for them to pay,in part at least,for the suffering they for so long have,and continue inflicting,on all HUMANITY.I feal sorry,for for all the suffering they have to endure,but this may be the only way,they finally realize,their responsibility on the suffering,they to this day continue,IMPOSING ON HUMANITY.
Politicians should be held accountable for the tremendous waste in government that they have created. They are financially destroying America just to satisfy their own greed and special interests. Americans need to take a little time and read their constitution. Money should not be allowed to trump the constitution. Congress should get back to the constitution and take control of America's monetary system. Congress should start by putting the federal reserve under government control and supervision, with stringent audits to ensure that trillioms of dollars more are not stollen from America and American tax payers. This is more critical than anything else this country can do. Remember Americans, printing tons more money and going socialist will not save the country. Also, China and other countries will not always be there to bail America out Wake up America before it is too late.
