“US hypocritical on arms reduction”

While re-negotiating START treaty, the US calls for nuclear zero, but in reality isn't ready to give up all weapons, says Aleksandr Pikayev, analyst from the Institute of World Economy and International Relations to RT.
USA always tries to appear good. They don't mean what they say. There can't be nuclear zero. Many countries have nuclear weapons and not just Russia and USA. Even terrorists can find them in the black market. A nuclear "zero" of Russia and USA can endanger international security.
The people of U S A. are ,in general, good people. They work hard {some 2 or more jobs}, pay a lot of taxes that goes into FOREIGN AID around the world, and have never asked the rest of the world for anything in return. Remenber New Orleans? Did the world come running to give assistance. If this had been a disaster somewhere overseas, The U.S.A. would have come running with massive aid to relieve the suffering. Often Americans do more for other countries than for themselves. They help feed the hungry and destitute around the world. Most will stop and feed or give money directly to beggers in other countries. Believe it or not, the average American is not all that well off financially. They just care.
So the sum of this criticism is that Russia wants us to have as few as 1,500 ICBMs each by the end of this new START treaty, whereas the the US wants us to have few as 3,000 ICBMs each. As the essence of the argument seems to be about the speed of disarmament I am not sure what we can say about end goals as neither side has yet proven a willingness to go down to 0. However, I do think less is better than more so I side with Russia on this issue. Eventually the point will be reached wherein multilateral disarmament will require cooperation between more than just our 2 nations, albeit according what i'm reading France is third in number of nukes with only 300. One will note that Russia has the most in the world at the moment, it has over 2,000 more active warheads than we do. Why is this? At any rate, the willingness to want to go even lower than 3,000 is noble and right.
