The Federal Government is cooking the books – CelenteInstead of a long-term payment increase Social Security will give out a one-time $250 payout in 2010. The government, says Gerald Celente from the Trends Research Institute, is bribing people ahead of midterm elections. |

Who in society is most discriminated against? Some people react adversely when societies become increasingly multicultural. Web reporter Lori “The Resident” Harfenist took to the streets of New York to find out which group people think is most discriminated against. |
I agree with john. I could care less about all the talk recently about Afghanistan, even the staunchest hardliners know that it's a lost cause for everyone but the defense contractors, and there are so many bigger problems closer to home. Our economy is essentially in a state of collapse, with politicians and bankers looting it for all they can, and all we hear from our independent free press is optimistic stories that sound like something from Pravda in the 1930s! Even in Russia, Medvedev and the largely state-owned media are more open and honest about the problems they face!
What about the drug war at the Mexican American border??? It has killed more than in Iraq and Afghanistan put together over the last 7 years. Where is the reporting??? You only hear from it only if you live in the Southwestern states. Why don't you try reporting the truth in America. For example the millions who die from drunk drivers and from illegal aliens.Illegal aliens from Central America can drive without applying for a drivers license. The millions of American children who are molested and tortured. The huge drug problem in America and how the government has failed to stop the drug trafficking at the border. What about Obama and his Chicago mob politicians. Why has Obama failed to keep his promises even when he has a Democratic majority in the House and Senate??? The Republicans can't stop him when the Democrats outnumber them yet Obama can't even get help from his own party. Why do criminals have more rights than the innocent? Why do prisons fail to reform criminals? Ex cons continue to return to crime after they are released. If you cannot even begin to report the truth in America keep your mouth shut and stay home. If you cannot be a good investigative reporter than try selling french fries and don't be a hypocrite!!!

The truth is a rare commodity in the major news networks. They have hidden agendas and to not have the people's best interest at heart. The billionairs who own and control the content of reporting of the news agencies should be taxed all the way to poverty to correct this propaganda reporting. Anyway, why should any one individual be allowed to have tens of billions of dollars of personal wealth while America denies it's poor old aged citizens their little annual social security raise. Looks like it is all about taking care of the greedy, not the needy.
