“US no closer to lifting Cuba embargo”

The U.S. President has introduced measures to ease travel and money transfers to Cuba for Cuban Americans, but nobody sees it as a step towards easing the embargo, says Andres Martinez from the New America Foundation.
He views this as a return to the Clinton years in terms of Cuba policy – which means lessening some of the additional tough measures put in place by the Bush administration.
