Who is this Wayne Madsen and why should he be afforded ANY credibility on such a presumably sensitive intelligence and geopolitical issue? Are we to just simply believe that, considering his past quasi-journalistic stunts (both on the RT and elsewhere), that the US Military would actually allow him anywhere NEAR a classified training site?

All just part of the 'psychological' approach to dealing with Iran. The US planned for an attack on Iran years ago and came quite close a few years ago. Even the great 'warmongering' Bush administration backed away from it as there was (and still is) a good chance that Iran could bite back hard against the US (and Israel) before all of their major infrastructure and 'heavy' military equipment was destroyed. There was also the ambiguous question as to how Russia and China would react to further US aggression in the Middle East. So, if the US were going to attack Iran they would have done so already. Iran knows this and this is why they appear 'arrogant' in front of the US in negotiations. Unless something drastic happens, the only war we will see between the US and Iran is a war of words.

Great report by Wayne Madsen. Obviously he is being used by the U.S. to leak information to the Iranians in order I presume to get them back to the bargaining table. After all if in his own words Madsen had leaked classified intel on this TV show then he would be arrested or suicided rather than travelling with a U.S. delegation to Libya. But if this is the manner that the US has to back channel to Iran in order to signal them or whatever then for sure that says a great deal more than anything that Mr. Madsen had to say.
