John F Kennedy On June the 4th 1963 John F Kennedy signed Executive Order 11110 which returned to the US Government the power to issue currency, without going through the Federal Reserve. On November-22- 1963 John F Kennedy was assassinated.

@ Peter, this was discussed again on the Coast to Coast radio show over the weekend. It is pretty obvious the USA had a coup back in 1963 and Johnson steered the country into a completely different direction than Kennedy would have. For example, Kennedy was also going to revamp the CIA and take us out of Vietnam. So much for those ideas. That assassination plot was a big turning point in the history of "What Went Wrong". BTW, have you seen the picture of Bush Sr. in front of the courthouse where Ruby shot Oswald? I swear, there must have been more CIA agents in Dallas that month than actual residents.

In general, auditing Fed is a good idea, but most likely it will not be very efficient just like in the case of Bernie Madoff's company that has been audited many times without any results. What legislators and American public should really discuss is why a private company (Fed) is in a very lucrative business of printing US money and financial obligations. Since this discussion never happens, Illuminati that control US and the world are on the safe side. After all, silencing few auditors is such a simple task compare with silencing almost all (Ron Paul is till trying ...) law makers and the country.

AUDIT THE FED then END IT!

The FED and all it's ill gotten assets worldwide should be seized by the United States and trials held for the perpetrators. These private bankers have enfringed upon the constitutional right of America to have an American government monetary system that functions in the interest of the American citizens, not owned by foreign and domestic billionaires. The time may be at hand when worldwide governments start to take control of their monetary systems and punish financial fraud that creates trillions of dollars for banking thieves. Billionaire today, inmate tomorrow? The wheels of justice turn very slowly, but occasionally, justice is served. Let all thieves rot in prison, especially the super rich ones.

@ vergo, Agreed, but I am afraid that Congress will not have the nerve to order an audit. Bernanke has as much as threatened to take down what is left of the US economy if they try to order an audit on the Fed.
