‘US saying one thing, doing another’

Despite promises of a 're-start’ with Moscow, Washington is continuing with a policy of what's described as the ‘military encirclement’ of Russia, says Rick Rozoff, an American political activist and writer.
I think that the Russian people have a lot to thank Putin for putting the interests of Russia before his own. The USA will always try to overtake Russia but they will do it from within. All it takes is one corrupt president from Russia who will effectively sell his country. I cannot even name one president of any country in the world who puts his country first before his own interests. Let's just look into the history of America's recent actions: The invasion of Afghanistan, Iraq and soon Iran have nothing to do with the war on terror. Let me give you the top 10 reasons: 1) Encircling Russia, depriving Russia of future expansion and imposing economic barriers to squeeze their future growth. 2) Eventually an all out war with Russia to secure their Immense Oil, Gas and Mineral resources, without a doubt the richest resource country in the world. World war 2 was all about using germany to fight russia and hence weaken both thus enriching the Neocons, however, Russia and germany were to smart, made a pact and delivered a blow to Nato. 3) Getting a foothold in the Heroin Drug trade, they’re not there to eradicate heroin but to distribute it to the world. 4) Getting control of futre Oil supply from Iraq. 5) Getting control of gas supply. 6) Control oil and gas supply pipelines for Europe and other countries. 7) Secure oil and gas for thier own consumption and control. Set an example to other countries what will happen if they disobey NATO orders. 9) Eventualy a confrontation with china over oil, gas and natural resources. 10) The most important, by controling oil gas, drugs natural resources, they will ensure that the dollar will remain the dominant currency for as long as possible. Here’s a list of people who interfered with their ambition of ensuring that the dollar remains a reserve currency: 1) Abraham Lincoln introduced the Greenback and paid with his life. 2) John F. kennedy On June 4, 1963, a little known attempt was made to strip the Federal Reserve Bank of its power to loan money to the government at interest, On that day President John F. Kennedy signed Executive Order No. 11110 that returned to the U.S. government the power to issue currency, without going through the Federal Reserve, he eventually paid with his life. 3) Saddam Hussein refused the US Dollar and wanted to be paid in any currency other than the US dollar, he paid with his life. 4)Mahmoud Ahmadinejad president of Iran, on February 17, 2008 created by cooperation between Iranian ministries and other state and private institutionsan oil bourse for petroleum, petrochemicals and gas in various currencies, primarily the euro and Iranian rial and a basket of other major currencies, we all know what his fate is. The world is being terrorized by the banking elites and people will pay with their lives if they interfere. That’s the war on terror, the terror that the banking elites are instilling on good people, please educate yourselves, know your enemies, the devils in suits and ties creating, fuelling hatred, racism and eventual wars in the name of profit
Since I am currently doing research on US - Russian nuclear relations since 1990s, I can say with confidence that Rozoff is right. There is substantial, proven evidence showing that US is expanding its influence around Russia, particularily with actions over Yugoslavia, Afghanistan, Georgia, Ukraine. I agree with Rozoff that we should be careful and skeptical about American future intentions in regards to Russia. However, if there is any possibility of cooperation, that posibility is now. The reason I say this is because we have to look at North Korea and Iran. Russia certainly has no interest in having a nuclear North Korea next door. As a matter of fact, it can be very destabilizing effect if war breaks out between North Korea and South Korea. Americans and Russians can very much find common interest in regards to North Korea. Iran is a similar story. Although Russia has some investment in Iran, the long term interests for Russia would be to stay away from investment and support in unstable regions. If Russia makes a concession on Iran, USA ought to make consession on Georgia, Ukraine, missile shield, and hopefully Kosovo (if it is not too late). There is a reason to be careful of American intentions, but there is also a glimpse of possible cooperation.

I agree with all Rick Rozoff have said. Except maybe that "Russia shouldn't be "accommodating U.S. military objectives" (transit to Afghanistan) . I personally think that Russian national interests are well protected at the moment and "favor" to U.S. was well calculated. (The proof for that is closure of the U.S. - base in Kyrgyzstan.) It is primordial that Russia keeps(in post S.Ossetia intervention period) dynamics and the posture of arbiter that can't be avoided in the region (at least in form if not in substance always) If not, all the prestige and self affirmation that was gained through Russian intervention in S.Ossetia can be lost. So to consolidate image of regional power even in the U.S. - NATO presence in the region some decisive reactions must show the political and military strength and preponderance of Russia in any situation concerning the region. I think that Russian leadership is well aware of that but the "battle" has not been finished yet. Passing the period of danger and crises in post Yeltsin Russia with relative success, I personally can't see how Russian consolidation of power can be stopped any longer by anybody .Coming from the bottom, Russia is on the surface again. "Favor" to U.S. is just another example. Conclusion - Russian leadership is NOT naive regarding U.S.(and NATO)-predator attitude. But be cause the game is not yet over, some cards are still hidden. Russia was so close to disaster(to end up like Serbia) and thanks to president Putin's historic achievement, Russia is back to stay and be counted.
