Actually the US is at last being sensible, rather than engaging in scaremongering and disproportionate measures. Air defence around Hawaii is a sensible measure, and if it goes further, the western board interceptors will easily cope. The bottom line here is that the US is starting to act in a balanced way, and appears to want to stay within international law. For me these are good things. We will quickly see that N Korea actually becomes more stabilised with its nukes, in stark contrast to all the negative predictions, because having those nukes exposes them to complete anihilation by the US or Russia, if they put a nuclear step out of place, and that is how it should be. That is why Russia is not overly worried about North Korea with nukes, it is a purely cultural thing. Russians assess and live with risk, Americans try to remove all risk, even if it means acting illegally. This risk free thinking is what is getting them into so much touble, because it is an unattainable panacea, that would require the central control by the US of everything. Does this look familiar!

Whats this about N. Korea saying that they will blow America off the map? I mean really? We have already kicked their tail once before? Do they really think that a country, no bigger than a few states could wipe out the biggest superpower in the world? If we have to go to war with these people, i am fine with that. Like the other guy said, who says that they aren't going bomb California? How do we know what their plans are? We need to take control of these people quickly before they harm our people. If i had to guess, Russia, China, and Japan should come on board with us here. I would hate to have two wars going on at once but i wouldn't think that our government would let its people be in harms way because some arrogant little country wants to feel like they are something bigger than they are. I say squash them and be done with it.
