I am really starting to think it is too late. Mr. Schiff is rather optimistic, because he seems to think we can repair the damage. We are already hitting the brick wall, but the people in the back seat have not yet been affected so they (Geithner, et al) think the wreck is "repairable". What they should be talking about is triage for any survivors, not whether the car is repairable. We had a chance to repair the car 20 years ago. 10 years ago we still could have done something. But not now.

I'd go so far as to say that Obama and his cronies are deliberately destroying what is left of the American economy. Then they'll step in and offer a 'solution' (fascist dictatorship). Problem, reaction, solution.

No matter what anyone's opinion, the United States now finds itself on the brink of economic crisis. Our 'problem' is not just one of recessionary obstacles, but of a dismissive and inept Congress. Trade imbalances, huge national debt, real unemployment at 17.1% and Keynsian economists at the wheel of that car. Triage indeed, Mr.Janssen. The 21st Century American Revolution is at hand. Americans with any degree of common sense can see what is about to unfold, yet too many of them are still too complacent, too busy with their daily lives to realize the full impact of America's economic downfall. But history warns us that this is regettably the norm for great empires; after a couple of hundred years, they just ignore their laws and lose their footing. Yes, sad but true. It's over for the United States of America. Good luck, America.

There are Americans that see what is in on the horizon and we plan for it. But there aren't enough that understand where we are headed and for that reason it is not going to be pleasant in the US as this unfolds. I wish Mr. Schiff was correct that it can be fixed. Spoke to a local congressman the other day and he said that unless we make painstaking changes right now America will be completely changed within 2-5 years. That change, in my opinion, will bring us to that of a third world country.

USA , since the time of Nixon, have generously helped China to raise its standards of living, by manufacturing in China and importing to USA Chinese goods at the expense of USA'Sr own industries. Now the Chinese economy is sufficiently developed and prosperous to be able to be prosperous selling to its own people and other countries without exporting to USA, so USA will be able to look after its own interests again, by developing its own industries again. Wages are dropping in USA to accomodate this.

USA help bring down the communism. It was a bad idea. As a result, USSR/Russia and China in particular have learned how to use the capitalism better than USA. USA was a great country until around 1990. Since then, this country is collapsing economically, about to become a third world country. Since then, the politicians had nothing better to do but to issue laws, rules and regulations after laws, rules and regulations until most industries have moved out of the country. Now, the people have become mostly a service industry. At the same time, the freedom in USA has become worst than in the communism. Now USA is a POLICE STATE. The social laws have impaired the society. Its people have become isolated. At the same time, to increase the social activities, homosexuality has increase, a clear sign of a Caligula Syndrome. Bringing down the communism was a bad idea. As a result, the USA Empire is history.

This 'financial ruin' is by design. They want the dollar to crap out, so they can usher in their global currency. MONEY is freedom. Money is power. If they can hijack America by destroying its currency and replace it with their own, guess what??? The most powerful country in the world was just conquered, and the American People had no clue. WAKE UP AMERICA!! Stop financing the rebuilding of the rest of the world and don't file a tax return. Tell the oligarchy where they can shove their New World Order.
