It is different the situation of Hispanics in the North of the U.S. (New York, Illinois, New Jersey) where they have no other option but to be assimilated by the Anglo majority as earlier immigrants did, than in the SouthWest or even Southern Florids, where at the same time thousands of Hispanics are assimilating and becoming Anglos (and that means "Americans") thousands of "Anglos" are being assiimilated by the Hispanic majority in many counties, so they leave to be Americans, whose tradition and history comes from British colonisation (fMayflower and Declaration of Independence) and become Hispanics, whose tradition comes at the same time from Spanish colonisation (Cortes, Pizarro) and from Native American tribes (Aztec, Maya, Quetchua, Guarani...) America is the result of British Colonisation and British culture. Once it is gone, America is gone. Well, part of the Southwest can become a "Super American Quebec", but a great part of Quebecois want Independence as they don´t feell belonging to the British tradition, and so happens with Southwest Hispanics....Even if it is possible that finally even some Northern Mexican states like Nuevo León (Monterrey), Baja Califonria, Sinaloa or Chihuahua join the U.S. of America as their way of life has becomen very "American". America will become then a kind of Swizterland, with "cantons" speaking different language but without the intention to become independent. All them would accept the U.S. Congress, the U.S. Constitution and the U.S. Declaration of Independence. If Canadian provinces also become part of America too, then the U.S.A. would reach a population of 370 million people, with three official languages: English, Spanish and French....

Buchanan has a point, this is where US is going. The situatuion will be opposite to what Enrique in the preceding comment seems to "predict". Dmitry Orlov in his book "Reinventing Collapse" and in his report "Closing the Collapse Gap" has predicted that the US will follow the path of the Soviet Union, the path of desintegration of all empires. Except US desintegration will be much more disastrous and consequences more severe, and I also think it will take much longer. Also, Russian researcher Igor Panarin has predicted that the US will disintegrate into 6 parts, which will side with different countries. I don't necessarily agree with all his assumptions, but the idea is sound. I believe he puts 2012 as a date, but I think it will take much longer than that and may be precipitated by a civil war. Buchanan is just repeating to the extent what Orlov and Panarin have said long ago, but puts his own political slant on it. You can find plenty of info on both authors online, just google their names or titles. There are also excellent interviews with both from RT, and others on youtube.com.

How poetic isn't it ? You drive a people off their land and call them " illegal aliens " when they try to return ! How do you fight back ? Maybe you could force more white people to have more children and fewer SUV's !

Buchanan is right.

Even Mexico deports illegals. Mexico is more strict. Why can't America do the same?

I would like to add that no one bothered the illegals to much until the crime increased dramatically. The problem now are the thousands who continue to die in the drug war. Obama ignores it and so did Bush. Why America fights in Afghanistan instead of defending the lives if its citizens is the result of  Soros who wants open borders and getting the Hispanic Vote. Most Hispanics are useful idiots of Soros and the far left.

It is ridiculous to say that the Mexicans were there first and deserve to be in America. The Navajos, Apaches and others were there before the mestizos and Christianized indians that became part of the Spanish culture. To go back further would be the Northern tribes that were driven out by the Southern tribes. Then we have to figure out which caveman tribe was first.

Lets be realistic and realize that every country including Mexico defends its borders.

The simple truth is that people can complain all they want, but money is money!!! People are funding this immigration thing anyways, but offshoring can be quite the change.

Truthhammer.....drive who off the land?  America has been through many hands, and driven off by others.  The illegals that are creeping through the borders were not here already, to return later. Like someone already said, try going to Mexico (or most any other country) as an illegal and see how far you'd get. This country is too soft on illegal immigration. When someone comes here properly, as any American would have to do if they moved to another country, then that's fine. But, I am tired of people getting caught breaking the law and then crying racism. It's way over the top. I would love to try that in Mexico. LOL
