Venezuela’s Foreign Ministry has accused the US of plotting a military aggression from the nearby Dutch islands of Aruba and Curacao, off the Venezuelan coast.

The Foreign Ministry’s official statement says recurrent violations of Venezuela’s air space by American military planes is “irrefutable” proof that the United States, supported by the Netherlands, is planning and aggression against Venezuela.

Officials in Caracas doubt that the US is using military bases on Aruba and Curacao only for fighting drug trafficking. At the same time, Venezuela does not give any specific details concerning the alleged violations.

A spokesman for the US Defense Department's Southern Command in Miami, Stephen Lucas, denied the allegations, AP reports. He said a US Navy plane accidentally strayed into Venezuelan airspace on a counter-drug mission seven months ago, but he noted “that is an anomaly, not standard operating procedure.”

Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez has repeatedly accused US authorities of planning a coup against him or invading his country. The US has always denied the claims.

Perhaps you should consider BAD MOUTHING the Terrorists. Well, Arbie. I hope you know the ratio of deaths from terrorist attacks and the U.S. military operations (be it legal or - most typical - illegal). Just look at how we are now preparing for genocide (perhaps in the magnitude of Holocaust, it's been done before), justified be the nuclear material the Iranians have in their possession. First of all, Israel has an estimated - and publicly acknowledged - 400 thermo nuclear warheads. Israel, Pakistan, India and Korea aren't in the "Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT)". Israel, though a more powerful "threat" than Iran, is not on the verge of war with the U.S. What are the reasons behind this decision? The way the media works in NATO member countries is exactly as hysteric as the way it works in the U.S. A further step towards fully "brainwashing" the Western civilization is our newspapers, television stations, and most of the Internet (the news sites, government sites and some NGO sites). I see ridiculous amounts of energy wasted in solely pointless debates/TV shows. The fact that TV shows are more available in our newspapers than politics, bothers me relentlessly. It's important to understand that most of our older generations does not recognize the Internet as a credible source for information (which is enough for them not to question sources). This makes our public news agencies almost a "Great Wall of Media". As an example, I was buying my groceries the other day and saw the front page of a very popular newspaper in Denmark. It read (I've removed the exact titles, since it won't make sense to you): "Do you remember from ? He's dead now." This was during the earthquake in Haiti, which was very poorly covered!

Sarah I shall try to explain what I mean by telling the truth to the whole World, including to millions US citizen, victims of their own system. Lately, Peter Lavelle had a show called Armed to the Teeth. Two guess-experts told us: America, Russia, Great Britain, Germany and France make and sell over 90% of all conventional arms (America, alone = 30% of the market). You can notice that those merchandise are all white. If you add what is called: weapons of mass destruction, the 30% US made become 65%. America has been and still is the initiator and first producer of all WMDs actually disponible for mankind'self-destruction: 60 trillions $(60 followed by 12 zeros) have been wasted in 60 years (see how excited are the US generals with their new gadget: the drones). Most nations have even increased their 2010 defense budgets. I did not suggest for Mr Putin to be aggressive; just to take advantage of his notoriety and what he has proved at the helm of Russia, to simply make the Audit of mankind governance under American leadership and gently expose the facts. Naturally the US-NATO consortium will deny those evidences, because their economies are all militarily oriented and have so far, always won. This resulted in the making of huge fortunes and a sciemment well conceived climate of fear and insecurity. The master-minds behind that shame used exactly what they accused their adversaries (communist Soviet-Union) to do: a global, well orchestrated brainwashing. I sign most of my comments by a remark which do not seem to please certain. I simply use what the great US astronomer: Carl Sagan, used to say. Mankind, desperately needs to follow good examples; an opportunity which was given to the Western countries, after 1945. The greed, the cynicism and the hegemonic desires of a few thousands persons has ruined the whole process. Now, we must find a country and some decent leaders to fill the gap. Why not Russia !!! Sorry Future Generations. Best Regards. Jean-Claude Meslin

It is quite apparent that some of you have been smoking the peace pipe for too long to comprehend the threat to humanity that the TERRORISTS present. It is even questionable what kind of wacky tobacke you have been smoking. Therefore, it would be counterproductive to try to convince you of anything. NO WORRY, BE HAPPY.
