Washing line wars

Diverging laws, firms going bust, appeals to the White House to dry clothes outside, and washing line users being labeled as “scum”: Is America actually ready to lead the way in the global fight against climate change?
Sometimes I like to hang my shirts and sheets outside because they smell better than in the dryer, even with those chemical "softeners" that try to mimic the outdoor scent. I do not live in a neighborhood with a homeowners association, and hopefully I never will. Those organizations have dictatorial rules, and the ban on clotheslines is among the least of them. Besides, who cares about how a clothesline looks, when every tenth house is in foreclosure? Clothes on a line just means that somebody is living there. Hooray!
My husband lost his job this summer. We knew it was coming. His company closed. He is 63, so finding suitable employment is going to be difficult. Needless to say, we've had to cut back our expenses as much as we can, and line drying is such a blessing! If we lived where it was against the rules to do it, I'd do it inside the house, although that is not as nice, certainly.

All the climate change word noise is centered around special interest propaganda. The world has much more critical issues and this global warming nonsense is just to distract attention away from the real and critical problems of the world {like wars and world hunger}. The billionaires never miss a chance to hype everything up and keep the working class {peasants} under their spell. Swine flue propaganda also serves their purpose to keep the people distracted while the billionaires rape the country. Is this the kind of change Americans want, or do they want honest government that puts the billionaires back in line.
