The prospect of Iran releasing the nuclear genie in the future is greatly upsetting the global geopolitical calculus in significant ways.
Scowcroft's scenario of Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Turkey "going nuclear" as result of Iran seem to be something positive for the USA- each of those countries are US partners. What is the minister whining about? Or is Scowcroft's warning just a threat to US rivals (aka Russia) that US will help more of its partners to go nuclear (armed) if Iran is not reversed on its track of energy independence?
