Have you not understood that Obama is a puppet; he will do what he is told to do. His professionnel formation is the same as our machiavelic comedian Sarkozy. With such "guignols" leaders we are in deep troubles: military expenditures will keep on the same level (1000 billions € a year globaly) for the pleasure of the military industrial complex masters. Yesterday, when riding about that NATO's georgian excercice which has been planned in the Pentagone to save Saakashvilli. There is no sincerity and honesty with peoples like Obama and Clinton. If Russia want really do something good for Humanity and its own people, she must ignore those idiots, make her country a good example to follow and deal with decent states, not with croocks. There are plenty nations who are ready to look toward Russia At the same time, the american people will wake-up and kick out, all those creeps. This is already started, because if revolution is the only solution; it will, soon start in the USA (I have friends there and know what is going on) Sorry, Mr Lavelle; somebody must shake the tree to make apples fall ! Personally I think NATO’s plans to hold exercises in Georgia next month is a huge mistake. We should have no dealing with Georgia, until President Saakashvili steps down from power. He needs to be tried by the International Criminal Tribunal for launching a large-scale military attack in South Ossetia in August 2008. He is a man that cannot be trusted.....

This is a very important issue but it will never be posted in an American news paper. There should also be a link to "TWITTER" as that forum would be helpful to get this story more coverage in the USA. I haven't seen this story in a Canadian paper either.

There are two major problems here: 1. A badly divided and demoralised Georgia is a threat to regional stability and peace. 2. European Union, NATO and United States policies towards some former USSR territories. In some ways, the sudden break-up of the old USSR has created some lingering problems ( which will not go away soon).
