It would be worthwhile to still use enryption as it makes snooping on us so much more difficult, it takes longer and costs them more. Am I right on this, please let me know geeks.

What surprises me is the NSA collected 97 billions gigabyte in a month and the same paper acknowledge that it takes 300 years ti sift it through, I would 4-5 times dead before they reach my info-file
let them waste their time and money
decent people turn their eyes when you stick a finger in your nose to not embarrass you, the American five eyes lacks manners and decency,

Spending millions of taxpayers to spy on them
those computers tech savvy are helping NSA to spy on their people including themselves, their friends and family.
May God bestow tyranny on tyrant.
This curse was made by Ayatollah Khomeini during Iran -iraq war,
USA the tyrant smashed Saddam,
Now the tyrant is NSA and its victims are their own citizens they also pays salaries and bills of the NSA

Some sort of humans act like homo binaris.

In stead of spy minor nums of bad guys, spy on everyone.
Instea d of spy corrupt goverments, spy on my pets
Instead of spy gunowners they spy on unarmed citizens.
Instea d of spy one ich other spy alone.

Chan ge NSA data center for Digital Carma Centers would probably started to walk all in alufoil.

Robert Ken Francis 24.03.2014 21:36

They are probably spying on Congress to get dirt on them so they can't do anything.

Lets face it to send a secure message your not going to use a computer or a fax .
your going to look back to the 60s when spies did not trust the system so they used a high speed burst transmitter ,the package was compressed and then sent via short wave on a given time and frequency ,time and frequency were changed for every message .

mergon 17.01.2014 10:10

So if i come up with a secure package that defeats the governments total recall system how long do you think i would be in business or even alive ?

Clearly we should keep shutting elementary school, while building prisons and code breaking budgets. America the beautiful.

WeloveAlex is right, the encryption is not hacked, ISP's and the big four provide backdoors so there is no need to decrypt. People should punish those ISPs and the big four or even better demand from the goverment that the NSA stops and backdoors are made illegal in the constitution.

People get the government they deserve.
Why vote for Bush twice ?!!!!!!!!
Ron Paul for president, he is the only one with a decent policy!

Jamie White 11.09.2013 16:33

Why is all of this no huge surprise to me whatsoever, to be honest, anyone who understands how enoygh about these encryption mechanisms should see they are inherently vulnerable under the right circumstances

NOT! If you read closely it's just another backdoor allowed by service providers; they are NOT CRACKING ENCRYPTION! If everyone started using TOR then the NSA program would be FINISHED!
The media should be ashamed of hyping this scare tactic!
They just don't want people to think about resorting to encryption; it's the perfect storm for people to actually move to the "darkweb" google "toroject"

Da llas Devam: you said to google "toroject" did you mean "torproject&quo t;? Nothing good came from google "toroject" so just needed a clarification. Thanks

Dallas Devam 06.09.2013 23:28
This could just be utter bullshit to stop people communicate in cryptography.
Absolutel y!

We need a completely new technology. The US government had the internet and after 30 years gave it to the people. Did we really think that this wasn't their end-game all along?

maria 06.09.2013 13:16

US economy is down the tube. There is a lot of homeless, people still loosing homes, loosing jobs, a lot of people living on food stamps, people can't afford health insurance, can't afford education, list goes on & on but our government is spending $$$ like there is no tomorrow & creating wars spending more money because they are acting like insecure teenagers. Hey, we are supposedly greatest country, total BS. We the people should sue our own government & take back what is ours & vote 4 Native Indian NO MORE democrats or republicans they are just criminals. Time to over throw these criminals.

Dipolelo Mmethi 06.09.2013 13:16

The end of Privacy as we know it. I did a presentation on Data mining, nobody seemed interested in my topic. How do you really convince people that they have no secrets anymore?
