NSA won't say how many Americans they've spied on; cite "privacy" concerns
June 19, 2012 16:59
Want to know if the US government has gone through your emails and listened in on your phone calls? The National Security Agency says they can’t consider such a request, and the reasoning is laughable — even by Washington standards.

The western world is becoming much more oppressive, spying on peoples emails, monitoring phone calls, police forces attacking peacful protesters. And these very same western governments who constantly preach freedom of speech, expression and the right to protest; have the nerve to condemn countries such as china and north korea for using the same tactics. We're governed by a bunch of hypocrites.
The Us government spies on all and every american citizen or resident. As a matter of fact, the US government spy agencies regularly evaluate and issue a secret 'report card' and a 'red flag' if necessary on every resident or citizen.Certain jobs require security clearance and many dissidents are refused jobs. As a matter of fact, just like in western Europe mos t of the unemployed in America are dissidents at least in the eyes of the government. All telephone calls in and out of America is taped and monitored by a program called 'Carnivore' and every inch of the US is under 24 hour video tape surveillance. Every book checked out of libraries, every p urchase item is also documented. The US is a Sophisticated Police State. The spying is done in such a way that the average guy ,like a typical zombie, does not even have a clue. Those who have a clue don't last very long! America is a fascist Police State!
When I was a civil service employee ....When ever there was a congressional inquiry .... all Federal Agencies .... "jumped" The good 'ol days when it was all very transparent (well, mostly).

This is more of a reason to really question your so-called elected officials why they do not do their job. There is no question that the intel agencies have a job to do. But not just on every citizen it picks out for some odd lame reason.
The US Constitution is being wiped off the map by these standards. Congress is at fault and they should not be re elected
Dear RT. I just noticed, that new tactics of NATO commenters on here is to have "TOPs". Meaning that if there is timespace where noone comments at some article, they post some PsyOp beauty to be "Always down to article". It would maybe done good, if without clicking "Comments" link only Best voted comments would be topped below article. Just idea. Regards
These people in government can't abuse us, and can do NOTHING without your tax money.
Free yourselves by obeying and following tax law.

I am with you there=JJ=The hypocrisy of the US government is Legendary."We will bring ""freedom and ""liberty"" to the countries we invade.+yes "sure thing"=That the US citizens do not "kick up a bigger fuss" I dont know.It must be the realization that they would be jailed. But that is why they will put up with TOTAL CONTROL of themselves by their ""government""= Abe Lincoln would be "turning in his grave> They fought against the English government for their INDEPENDENCE and are Proud of it .Are they now happy with MORE control than Mr A.HITLER imposed on Germany in the 1930s?? Duncan...That, s the greatest illusion American never had "Independance" remember the "First Bank of America" that was a branch of the Bank of England. The troops stayed until it was up and running. You were warned to renew the banks charter or else there would be trouble. In 1811 you failed to renew the charter, by one vote, and your Whitehouse was burnt down and you got the " Second Bank of the United States". The only time America had sovereignty was a brief period during the Civil War when Lincoln printed government debt free money. (GREENBACKS). In the 19th century the Bank of England,s representative, Earnest Sayd could buy off Congress for £100,000. The only thing thats changed is the price of your politicians and, of course, the name of their bank the FEDERAL RESERVE.
