Oops, he did it again: Florida Pastor Terry Jones burns another Koran

April 29, 2012 17:33

Florida's controversy-igniting pastor has held yet another Koran-burning ceremony outside his church. Pleas from the Pentagon to refrain from the act fell on deaf ears, as the pastor stuck to his guns and torched the holy Muslim text.

Burning the Koran is stupidity. He would do better to advise people to actually read it.  But according to a story in RT Iranian authorities recently consficated and burned 6500 Bibles acting under the orders of the supreme Ayatollah. Where is the outcry against this?? Double standards somewhere I think!

Anonymous (unregistered) wrote in #19 As a muslim I say the best thing is to leave it alone, for the enemy only wants us to get angered and sin. Let Allah deal with him and judge him on the last day for this life is too short to get angry and stressed out  Ffs, why do people vote this down? I find it kinda good that the pastor does this, even tough he himself probably is a douche. Muslims have to stop killing people for things such as burning paper or making drawings... the likes of this muslim, however, speaks out against such reponses. Dont believe I've actually ever seen that

Oh goody, now Muslims have something else to complain about. I am so sick of religious feuds. Religions always looking for something to argue about. I get the book is holy, but I can guarantee the book he burned was machine made in a factory. Get over it. Complaining isn't going to chagne anything. He likes the attention, you guys like the attention--it is a vicious circle.

It's people like this who claim to be Christian then spread an ideal of hatred that give true Christian's a bad reputation.  I am sorry he chose to take such an un-Christlike aproach to what he believed to be a threat.

Bei ng a pastor he should know that true Christian's do not commit such an act as to deliberatelly call out the enemies of our faith.  True Christian's love all no matter their choices, standing at a possition of true peace, remitting the sins of other's and repenting of their own.  His behavior has only done the true Christians in this country a disservice as society is clearly making us into third class citezens.

H aving said that, I remit his sin and pray for him.  I pray for all Christian's as well.  We are heading into dark, unforgiving times.  The descrimination has already been fostered in the hearts of Americans by means of films, liars posing as Christians, and even our own Government, and soon the persecution of the worlds hatred for the Christian people will manifest on these shores.

Egyptian women have urged the country's Islamist-dominated parliament not to pass two controversial laws on age at marriage and sex after death. The two laws include provisions that would void the rights of women to obtaining education and employment due to religious standards. One of the laws would drop the minimum permissible age of marriage to age 14. The other would permit a husband to carry out conjugal relations with his wife within six hours following her death.

Unfortunately, Mr. Jones is wasting his time. Anyone stupid enough to believe the koran is already beyond reach. The koran is absurd, written by an abusrd imbecile. Islam depends on fear. If the fear goes, islam goes.

Absurdity, rioters? What rioters, where? in the Middle East, Arab, or muslim countries? Or, in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iran? Where? Or, in the West or Russia? Just answer one simple question - where on earth were you when St. George's flag was burn so many times, and the American flag? Did you comment? Well, definitely not on RT? You are surrenderist! You'll be 'halal'ed' by the terrorists (those openly campaigning like Al-Queda, and those covertly supporting them all over Europe) very soon at this rate. NO, NO, NO... You don't surrender!
Those causing riots, must be dealt with as per the rules of the land wherever they may be. If the rules are lenient towards the overt and covert terrorists, then they need to be changed to bring them in and put them behind bars. Yes, put them behind bars, not kill them. The West must stop assistance to any country that doesn't openly counter those extremism. 'So us the proof' that the extremist countries have done something to stop this fast spreading terrorism.. Otherwise, don't raise your fingers at anyone in the west practising free speech (not free kill that you are practising) - unless you have this attitude, the extremists will win all over. If you want peace and tranquillity, these extreme forces must be got rid of from the planet.

Seems to me that he's inciting a riot and therefore can be charged with a crime.

If the world is to avoid being swung to the left or right by one crackpot or another we will need to press forward with non-religeous governance and educational systems. Secular, scientific thinking offers some chance for humanity to advance. Religion just makes people who are nutjobs to begin with stimulated enough to act out.Turning the clock back 1000 years to warfare between Islam and Christianity is complete stupidity. Of course if you are an arms dealer then it might be genius.

re. Gregory Henderson and his bible: Mankind left Africa 60,000 years ago.Jericho [Tell - el Sutan] was founded 12,800 years ago In all that time and all the writings over these thousands of years, how do some random writings 2,000 {nothing before/nothing after} years ago become the "word" of  "God"? Who says? a  massive illusion has overcome a large group of the human species in need...of something...anything ... grasping. and they found a money-maker:   Christians create d their own unique ventriloquist {god}and his dummy {the bible} next....

While, I, myself, am a Jewish Christian, and have never read the book personally, I do, from actually talking with Ishmaelites of that faith, know that Jeshua Ben Joseph is the most quoted prophet in their book, that Mary the Mother, is mentioned over 40 times, which is more than the Bible, actually and that they, the Ishmaelites are awaiting the return of the descendants of the House of David to Israel, to restore peace throughout the Israel and the Middle East, which also parallels Jeremiah 30 from the Bible...therefore I can only ask:
How stupid would this man feel, upon learning such truths?

Islam is the only non-Christian faith, which makes it an article of faith to believe in Jesus (pbuh). No Muslim is a Muslim if he does not believe in Jesus (pbuh). We believe that he was one of the mightiest Messengers of Allah (swt). We believe that he was born miraculously, without any male intervention, which many modern day Christians do not believe. We believe he was the Messiah translated Christ (pbuh). We believe that he gave life to the dead with God's permission. We believe that he healed those born blind, and the lepers with God's permission. So i think HE SHOULD READ THIS BOOK BEFORE BURNING IT
