Rand is just like his father. A good man, all alone.

Senator Paul has already been arrested by the TSA once for what was in essence wrong-thinking. He has been branded a loon for speaking out against the Bushbama Administration's drone program. They will continue to harass and marginalize him until he is irrelevant to the mainstream.

Read what the NSA is doing then read this.

" ;The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized."

Sounds clear enough to me. Strange, shouldn't there be something in there about a secret courts that issue secret warrants that can't be challenged by lawyers because it is all done in secret?

The authors description of Rand Paul as a "devout libertarian" is far off the mark, as Senator Paul proves when he says in reference to the NSA spying program: "I think it would be better with more oversight...". A libertarian would demand that the NSA be defunded and dissolved, not allowed to exist with more oversight.

Mike...The United States is slowly becoming the world's largest penal colony. Thank George Souros for it. The people hate what is going on here. They are pitted against each other.

U.S supreme court is a joke because of the leftist judges in it. They only have time to check the vag ina and decide on contraceptives and stuff.

Mr Rand seems to be talking some sense here. Where are all the others in the senate to back him up ? Or is this just something token from the congress that gave away all our rights?

The spying coverage map posted on RT is rather interesting. The USA is spying on all its friends and no enemies. Why is that? It is spying on Italy and Brazil of all countries and giving Israel a pass. It is not spying on Egypt or Iraq. It boggles the mind. It looks like they are spying to enhance business prospects and steal perhaps industrial secrets and not worried about terrorism.

Although every other government is just as bad, what makes the Benighted States so reprehensible is that it parades itself around the world as the land of the free and the home of the brave when in reality it is quite the opposite.
