A liberal conclusion to a liberal created state...how about the convicted rapist who successfully sued for pictures of his victims genitalia from the trial.... Another great twist, now to get sole custody of children woman merely haft to claim the man raped them (before or after the fact) and they win and collect all the money. So much liberalism, umm its called an abortion sweetie...don't overlook it then expect a free ride with child support. Liberal only want things their way when its good for them

This was a 20 year old man who raped her when she was 14 and home alone. She did not know him. This was not consensual sex and he pled guilty to rape.

For those ignorant people who want to believe women can magically reject sperm when raped, scientific studies have refuted that. Read something that is not a fairy tale dreamed up by people who want to force every woman to carry every child.

Goog le "women more likely to conceive after rape" to find peer-reviewed quantitative research.

This page won't let me post the link as it "contains offensive language." Well, that magic sperm theory is pretty offensive. Google "women more likely to conceive after rape" to find peer-reviewed quantitative research.

I am highly skeptical of any "rape" that resulted in a child. A woman's body is able to prevent pregnancy during a legitimate rape. I think it's far more likely this woman had consensual sex then claimed rape because her lover did not reciprocate.

Seriously? You really believe this? First, let me clarify.... this is in no way true... I don't know where you got this information or if you're are just making it up. Not true. Wow...... ignorance is dangerous.

Aside from the obviously ridiculous ruling. I want to know why this child just didn't get an abortion or put the baby up for adoption? A lot of this could have been prevented in hindsight.

Hi Ron,
well let us put the question another way? Should a child be forced to have a relationship with someone who is a rapist, a child abuser, who also committed perjury, kidnapping, extortion and openly brags about it? Who told lies about the other parent to alienate the children from the parent?

If you said no to that? Then you would be a very RARE case because that is exactly what my wife did...but because she is a woman all her crimes are just peachy.

This man needs to cease to exist.

Jerek,
accor ding to the womens definition of "rape" I was raped many times in my marriage. Should my wife ALSO cease to exist? Or are you a sexist, discriminatory bigot?

Massachusetts - it's still better than Chicago.

Tim Higgins 22.08.2013 22:32

This situation beggars belief, I hope common sense prevails in this case.
That girl and her parents deserve to be commended for not forcing here to have an abortion and rearing the child without prejudice.

Ron Hunnicutt 22.08.2013 18:16

This is simple. Would a reasonable person believe that it would be in the child's best interest to know and spend time with a known convicted rapist? What could that person have to offer the child in the way of parenting?

Alcohol and other drugs turn people more violent, more rapist-prone. Rapist should have no right of visiting. Crazy US democracy.
