This last year, or so, I forget the exact date, Russia got an unpleasant wake-up call that we, humans on the ground, basically have no earthly clue what's going on upstairs in near earth orbit, and that, despite all the money spent supposedly tracking all this stuff. They had a meteor(?) come crashing into the atmosphere, finally impacting in an uninhabited area, but still scaring the bejesus out of everyone that saw the bright flash in the sky. What can be done to improve our 'picture' of the upstairs world in orbit?

I'm sure there will be more cutbacks like this. It it

If they leave the satellites online we could build our own hardware/software groundstation and put up a website to spit the results out to in near real-time.

It's just a mater of what radio band it runs on, the higher the freuqnecy the more expensive it will be to recieve the signal.

Space fence has been obsolete for many decades. There is a grid that covers the whole planet and it uses satellites with enhanced energized radar capabilities interconnected to make an energy detection gridwork around the whole planet. SDI Any high energy device or vehicle (UFO) entering the atmosphere is detected and any device creating high energy on the planet (Powerful free energy device and anti gravity inventors are detected and neutralized) Like the Berlin Wall its mainly used to keep us controlled within not to keep out enemies.

It's another set up. Either because of Operation Blue Beam or just a plain old set up.

I find it odd this administration sends HUNDREDS of billions of dollars in aid, and can't keep operating a 14 mil a year space fence when all this talk of asteroids and comets coming our way that could hit us.

That could very well be the point of it... All I know is that this government has got their heads up their asses.
