Here is a different question... Why does a high school have a 20-year-old student?
Maybe he got held back....or maybe since he wasn't from America, he was put in a certain grade when he came here?
This really gets under my skin. In my opinion, she did the right thing. I would have done the same.
What a Country, I cant understand how Americans allow this sort of thing to happen.
Where's the link to the online petition? What is wrong with people these days? If it is a liability issue all that needs to be done is to create a liability disclaimer form for the parties to sign. They are not interested in helping people only in watching their own backsides! It didn't used to be so shameful to be American... Good for the fired teacher and the sick 20 year old.
I am staggered. Are we as humans supposed to help another human who is stressed or to leave them to suffer or die?
It appears that those who made these decision, are from another solar system.
She couldn't dial 9-1-1? This thing called an ambulance will come, if you really believe its that serious. What if they had been involved in an automobile accident on the way? What if he went into cardiac arrest in your passenger seat instead of in the back of an ambulance? They let her off easy.
If you are an example of how most americans think your doomed for extinction. (btw thats a hint do not reproduce best thing you could do for us humans)
What a shame!!!! People are prohibited to help others, because they have instruction how to do it........ the country of freedom and democracy.... in reality it is so pathetic...
It is amazing that you some how pulled internment camp, marshal law and obedience out of what I wrote. I never stated that I support our puppet government I merely stated there was better ways to go about what she did. Food for thought mister... If this story read, "teacher kills student by driving her to the hospital while ditching her class all for the sake of her thinking she knows what is right. More so than the trained professionals dispatched at her disposal all she has to hit is 911 on her phone" How would you react?
Fr iend I couldn't agree more! It would be one thing if this was the first case blatantly it is not. So irresponsible to not call in the professional's ( 911 ). Plus it begs the question who the h ell was watching her class? I know her intentions were right, but really? I could find a juvenile to think that one through better.
Haha ha!!! Awe yes! No resistance! The government always knows best! They have civilians best interests in mind with every decision, every policy! When marshal law is declared, the internment camp u go to is for ur safety!
The sad thing, is how this teacher is oppressed against her "natural motherly care instinct", oppressed against her "generosity&quo t;, and oppressed against "doing the right thing". And to top it off, this teacher is the only chance these students have at growing up as intelligent contributing beings. But the system has to put a stop to that, and make an example out of her. Welcome to the "united stoopid of america!" !!!
All she had to do was call emergency 911 and have medical professionals come help the sick student !!! She deserves to be fired ,, since she had been warned previously to avoid doing it !!! Idiot
[quote name='Кирилл Михаил' time='03.04.2014 That teacher was stupid to do what she did , even tho it may seem the " human " thing to do !! Legally she was jeopardizing herself and the student for taking the situation into her own hands . All she had to do was call emergency 911 and have medical professionals come help the sick student [/quote]
Wo w. Ignorance is bliss eh!? I live in Canada, where healthcare is free. It's still 500$ personal bill to use an ambulance! A foreign student with no family, no insurance, and the teacher paid for hospital. Lol, karma will return your wishes someday...
