Huge fire at Argentina’s largest international airport in Buenos Aires
Footage of a massive blaze close to one of Ezeiza International Airport’s runways in Buenos Aires has surfaced on social media.
Few details on the extensive blaze, which apparently continued into the night, have been immediately available.
In the footage posted online, billows of black smoke could be seen wafting seemingly close to a few airplanes.

Firefighters are battling the blaze, according to reports on Twitter accompanying photos taken by the witnesses.
Ezeiza International Airport is located about 35 kilometers from Buenos Aires.
The blaze took place “in a nearby field” and “hasn’t affected aviation activities,” the Airport Security Police wrote on Twitter.
