Nice airport briefly evacuated, troops deployed over unattended bag
Nice airport was briefly closed for the general public on Friday as a package left in the luggage area prompted a bomb alert.

The evacuation was apparently prompted by an unattended bag left at the airport. Security is tight in France after a high profile terrorist attack in Nice, which claimed 84 lives and injured 100 more people on Thursday night.

France is recovering from yet another terrorist attack, which happened just after its hosting of the Euro 2016 championship. The event required heavy security measures across the country.
