Drone footage shows Russian cruise missiles hit ISIS positions near Palmyra (VIDEO)

The Russian military has released drone footage showing the moment Kalibr cruise missiles hit Islamic State hideouts east of the Syrian city of Palmyra. Four missiles targeted the terrorists and their heavy weaponry.

Earlier on Wednesday, the missiles were fired from the Admiral Essen, a Russian Navy frigate, and the Krasnodar, a submarine that carried out the launch while submerged. The ships were in the eastern Mediterranean at the time.
