'No comment’: Israeli military silent on Syrian airbase attack
The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) repeatedly refused to comment on a Russian Defense Ministry statement that accused Israel of targeting a Syrian airbase in Homs province on Sunday night.
Asked about a report by the Russian Defense Ministry, in which it said Israel had carried out a missile attack on Syria’s T-4 airfield in Homs province, Jonathan Conricus, an IDF press officer, said that the Israeli military “are aware of the statement” but “we have no comment [on it].”

Press attache of Israel’s diplomatic mission in Russia, Alex Gandler, also had 'no comment' to make on the Russian statement, Sputnik reported.
In a statement on Monday, the Russian Defense Ministry said two Israeli F-15s had fired eight guided missiles at the T-4 airfield, but five rockets were shot down by Syrian air-defense systems. The Israeli aircraft did not enter Syrian airspace and launched the strikes while flying over Lebanon.
