A German university will host a workshop where women can learn how to give themselves a hand in reaching maximum pleasure. The idea has, however, raised a few eyebrows.
The event is being organized at the University of Bielefeld and consists of a theoretical and a practical part, where women can try different techniques of self-pleasure.
The participants will be shown small sex education videos and should also make sure to bring a hand mirror, towel, and lubricant. But no worries, if anyone “can’t or doesn’t want” to bring anything, the organizers promise to provide all the necessary equipment.
Women are assured that, among other things, they will learn more about the G-spot and how to make the right shower position for self-pleasure. And there is definitely interest, since the course is already full.
It is part of events titled: ‘Society. Makes. Gender' which are organized by a group of students and sponsored by the General Student Committee (AStA).
The course in question did not go down well with a local branch of the conservative Association of Christian Democratic Students believes, which merely called it “a bad joke.”
The university, however, is not really bothered by the upcoming course, saying that management “does not evaluate the content of student events.”
