A fire has broken out at the Trump Tower building in Baku, Azerbaijan. Video shared on social media shows plumes of smoke billowing from the building's uppermost floors.

Firefighters are on scene tackling the blaze which broke out at the unfinished building late Saturday morning. A total of four fire engines have been dispatched to the scene and both the Minister of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan, Colonel-General Kamaladdin Heydarov and Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations, Lieutenant-General Etibar Mirzayev, are coordinating the emergency response on the ground, reports APA.

There have been no reports of injuries. The Formula 1 Azerbaijani Grand Prix is underway nearby at the Baku City Circuit.

The property is still under construction but the Trump Organization ended its affiliation with the project in November, 2016 due to repeated delays and rumored corruption.

The fire takes place just weeks after another blaze at Trump Tower in New York in which art dealer Todd Brassner died.
