George Clooney injured in bike collision with car in Sardinia – local media
Hollywood star George Clooney has been injured in a road incident in Sardinia, Italy, local media report. He was driving his motorbike when he collided with a car.
The accident took place near the beach resort of Costa Corallina, local Tgr Rai Sardegna channel wrote on Twitter.

The 57-year-old was taken to a nearby hospital, Italian media reported. He apparently sustained injuries to his pelvis and had bruises, but his injuries were not serious.
In the hospital, he was joined by his wife Amal and they left the venue together in a private car.
Clooney arrived in Sardinia to direct a TV miniseries called Catch 22, based on the novel by American author Joseph Heller set during World War II.
