NASA astronaut asked ground control what the ‘alien-like’ object was that he saw in space
NASA astronaut Leland Melvin has shared a disturbing experience with UFO watchers on Twitter. His story begins with him saying that he saw something “organic, alien-like” floating out of the payload.
Melvin said that there was a “translucent, curved, organic” object in the cargo area of the spacecraft, prompting him to call to his colleagues on Earth to ask what it was.
Melvin made the revelation when responding to a question from the UFO Sightings Daily blog, who asked if he had ever seen a UFO. The space engineer and former NFL player said he hadn’t seen any in space or on Earth, but admitted that he did see something suspicious on the shuttle.
I have not seen one in space or on the ground but thought I saw something organic/alien like floating out of the payload bay. @AstroKomrade and I called the ground to ask what it could be and it was ice that had broken off of the Freon hoses.Translucent, curved, organic looking👽

Alas, ground command told Melvin and his partner Randy Bresnik that the mysterious creature was actually ice that had broken off of the Freon hoses. He joked: “I was about to say ‘Houston we have a problem’ but know everyone spins-up when those words are uttered from a space vehicle.”
When asked if it’s possible that NASA lied about the ice to keep the team calm and focused on the shuttle, Melvin tantalizingly replied: “You never know.”
Hmmm. Don’t think so but you never know. 🚀
