Concerned crow tries to shut down vicious cat fight (VIDEO)

As two cats engaged in a vicious brawl in Belarus recently, a humble crow became an unlikely hero by stepping forward to try and defuse the ferocious fight.

The bizarre incident reportedly took place in the city of Salihorsk in May. Video footage from the scene shows the crow lingering on the sidelines as the two felines circle each other menacingly.

Eventually, all hell breaks loose as the cats lunge at each other and engage in a savage scrap. When the brawl escalates, the seemingly concerned crow attempts to intervene. It nearly gets swiped by flailing claws and has to dart away to safety.

During a brief pause in combat, the crow pecks at one of the cats in what looks like an attempt to divert its attention. However, the bird’s efforts prove fruitless as the cats quickly recommence attacking each other.

As the battle rumbles on, the crow valiantly continues pecking at the cats, and eventually its efforts appear to pay off as the cats stop fighting each other and instead team up to chase after the peace-making bird – which might not have been its intention after all.
