Airplane makes emergency landing in Peru with no nose gear (VIDEO)
A light aircraft made a hair-raising landing at Jorge Chávez International Airport in Lima, Peru, grinding to a halt in a shower of sparks as the plane’s nose gear failed to deploy.
LC Peru flight #W41323 was approaching its destination of Ayacucho, when pilots were notified of the malfunctioning nose gear. The Bombardier Dash 8 airplane returned to Lima and landed, and all 59 passengers and five crew are reported safe.
