A powerful 6.5-magnitude quake struck the Greek island of Crete on Saturday, about 140km south of its capital, Iraklion, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center reports.
Testimonies gathered on-site show that a light movement was felt as far away as 349 km, about 217 miles. There appears, however, to be no reports so far of major damage.
