Masked man livestreams stabbing spree (GRAPHIC)
An attacker dressed in a black helmet and armed with a knife and an axe has stabbed at least five people in a public park’s tea garden in Eskisehir, Türkiye, Anadolu news agency reported on Monday.
The attacker attempted to flee the scene but was neutralized and detained by law enforcement. After paramedics were notified that the police had apprehended the suspect, they arrived at the scene and evacuated the five wounded to a local hospital.
Two of the injured are reportedly in life-threatening condition.
In a video circulating on social media, the suspect is seen wearing a black helmet, goggles, a black mask with a skull motif, and a black plate carrier vest adorned with a black sun swastika.

In later footage, he can be seen lying on his back with his hands behind his back as a police officer stands over him, removing the axe from his belt.

The motive for the attack has yet to be officially confirmed, but Anadolu said the suspect allegedly committed the stabbings under the influence of a computer game he was playing. The agency named the attacker as Arda K., 18, who apparently streamed his attack online.
