Outfoxed in Belarus - hunter shot by quarry

A hunter has been taken to hospital in Belarus with a gun shot wound. He claims he was wounded by a fox he was hunting.

The hunter, 40, says he shot the animal and was going to finish it off with the gun butt, when the agonizing fox somehow accidentally pulled the trigger. The bullet pierced the hunter’s hip.Meanwhile local police say they are somewhat skeptical about the story and have other possible scenarios to check. The man may have been shot by another hunter or even tried to commit suicide, they believe.
