As past experience has shown, although the Summit on Climate Change would probably come to a successful conclusion, it is unlikely to be backed up by future action, thinks Danish environmentalist Bjorn Lomborg.
He talked to RT about the meeting in Copenhagen, its targets, the likely outcome and global warming skeptics.
The policy-makers are very likely to arrive with a target set for 2050, Lomborg said, also noting that it is “very, very easy to set, because nobody will be about when 2050 rolls around.”
