Serbian police raided the Belgrade house of the Bosnian-Serb wartime military chief, Ratko Mladic on Tuesday. He is accused of some very serious crimes - including the alleged murder of thousands of Muslims.

“All those accusations against Ratko Mladic are false,” said Mladen Obradovich from the Serbian nationalist movement, adding “There are many writers who claimed that there was no genocide in Srebrenica against Muslims.”

Concerning the issue, Obradovich told RT: “This, what happened today in Belgrade, is nothing else but criminal, because the police not only took many of his books, some papers, cassettes, and CD-s. They also took all the money from Ratko Mladic’s family, although he isn’t charged with anything. So it is nothing but a robbery.”

He added: “For us, Ratko Mladic is not a war criminal – he is a hero. He is one of the military and political leaders who formed the Republic of Srpska and therefore he is an enemy of the US, NATO, and European Union.”
