Cuban leader Fidel Castro has released his annual New Year's message in Havana. The message was delivered on Cuban television by government spokesman, Randy Alonso.
Castro stated that he's being informed of important information and events and continues to participate in the decision-making process with those close to him.The Cuban leader has not made a public appearance since July, increasing speculation over his state of health.
